Biography

After obtaining my BSc in Applied Economics from the Université Grenoble Alpes, I decided to move away from economics and focus more on the mathematics and computing disciplines. Consequently, I studied for an MSc in Statistics and Data Science with the Université Grenoble Alpes during which I worked in multiple Research Assistant roles for various laboratories at the University, implementing a variety of machine learning and statistical techniques. I concluded my MSc with a project classifying subsets of cancer patients according to discriminating survival groups, which allowed me to appreciate the role of bioinformatics in medicine. Over the course of 2020 my appreciation and deep interest for the harvesting and interpretation of statistical inference from global biomedical data developed further. I joined the Core Bioinformatics team of the CSCI in April 2021; I will be developing bioinformatic tools and analysing a variety of NGS datasets with the goal of understanding the dynamic changes in the underlying regulatory networks. I am keen on applying machine learning approaches in stem cell research.
