MSc and BSc Computer Science

Biography

I graduated BSc and MSc in Computer Science from Cuza University in Iasi, Romania. Starting with a deep interest in programming and software engineering, I further expanded my skills in Big Data analyses. The challenges presented by large noisy datasets sparked my curiosity on creating new, efficient approaches for detecting signals and patterns. This led to a shift towards data science and a thorough understanding of various machine learning approaches across various business domains.

Yet another challenge was represented by big datasets coming from the bio-medical field; I am enthusiastic about being a part of the Core Bioinformatics group at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, where I can practice and enhance my technical skills, learn new methods for data analyses, and explore more biological hypotheses.
